For me, it is the first Nkon camera. It is the model which attached the quartz watch date to L35AF in 1983. Its lens is 35mm,f2.8. The shortest photography distance is 0.8m. The lever currently attached beside the lens is a lever for exposure compensation. There is a function of a self-winding raising, self-winding return, AF, and a automatic exposure. So photograph can be taken only by pushing a shutter. Two single 3 dry cells which go into a hand anywhere are used for a power supply (LR44 is independently required for a date mechanism).
The strange nickname "PIKAICHI" was attached . A setup of ISO is not the DX code but manual (ISO 64-1000). In a dark place, a stroboscope carries out automatically.

ニコンというのは日本では一番高級感のあるカメラメーカーのようです。カメラに興味がなかった頃はニコンだろうがオリンパスだろうがペンタックスだろうがおんなじだと思ってましたけど。そのニコンが作ったコンパクトカメラです。写りに関してはさすがにすばらしい。でも、重くて大きいのが玉にキズです。気軽に持ち歩くには抵抗がありますね。暗いところでは自動的にストロボが焚かれる困った機能がついています。ＤＸコードでなくマニュアルでＩＳＯを設定するところは時代ですね。
